Alice Metro Charity, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization operating a community food service program in the Dallas–Balch Springs area of Texas. Our work is geared toward assisting children and youths in low to moderate income families, making sure they have reliable access to the food they need to learn, grow, and thrive.
To assist individuals and families with a history of justice involvement, substance use disorder, or mental illness live successfully in their communities — starting with the most basic need of all: food on the table.
We run a community food service program that prepares and distributes meals and food packages for children and youths from low to moderate income households across southern Dallas County. Our programs are volunteer-driven and work alongside local churches, schools, and neighborhood groups to reach families where they are.
We rely on the generosity of our community. Volunteers help with food preparation, packing, and distribution. Financial contributions and in-kind food donations keep the program running week after week.
